1-1 Kambo Ceremonies & Group Ceremonies

Kambo ceremonies allow one space to go deep within oneself as a means to move stagnant energy, release parasitic energies, unwanted toxins and unwanted bacteria. This medicine provides an overall reset and offers numerous benefits, which can be found below. Kristina Love takes each potential client through a process of intake & screening, which includes an intake form and agreement form because she believes integrity, clarity, & safety are at the forefront of importance regarding serving this sacred medicine.

Kambô is a frog secretion from the phyllomedusa bicolor frog, also known as the giant monkey tree frog. It is most known to aid in clearing panema, which is known as psychic sludge, stagnant energy that gets accumulated in the body, unintegrated darkness, psychic attacks, stuck unresolved trauma in the body, bacteria and toxins.

The ceremony space is as sacred as can be—as Kristina shares her tools and medicines in a beautiful alter space and she opens up the ceremony space with prayer and intention setting. Each ceremony includes the option to receive hapé (sacred tobacco snuff medicine for grounding support) before Kambo, and sananga (healing medicinal eye drops for nervous system strengthening and clarifying vision) after Kambo. During ceremony, Kristina will typically be found sharing energy work for the client(s) through limpia (sacred cleansing practice), playing instruments and singing her original medicine music, and coaching the client(s) as needed.

Kristina trained with the lineages of the Cofán tribe, based in Equador and Southern Columbia. She is also actively training with her shaman teacher Teo of the Shipibo tribe, as she continues her training with grandmother medicine. To serve Kambo, she learned directly from her teacher Ramses Alexander in an intensive 1-1 training on his family’s property in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her whole training took place over the course of 4 years and she is a forever student, always open to learning and expanding. She carries these sacred teachings and practices humbly and with gratitude to the indigenous tribes for passing on all they have shared. She is certified as a Kambo Practitioner— to learn more about Kristina, click on the “About Kristina Love” tab above.

A Kambo ceremony typically takes about 2 hours total, from the time sacred ceremony space is opened with a prayer until the ceremony space is closed with a prayer. Everything before the actual Kambo journey is preparation, prayer, intention setting. Hapé medicine is offered before Kambo and Sananga is offered after Kambo. Everything after is integration and more prayer. The initial journey with Kambo typically takes anywhere from 20 minutes-45 minutes. Kambo is served through the lymphatic system with a little vine, the tip of the vine is lit with a flame, the flame is blown out and the heat remains, and the heat is used to place the gateway points on the skin. Only the top layer of the skin is removed. This process only takes about 1 minute. While uncomfortable, it is quick, and safe. The client will drink 2-3 liters of water within 15-20 minutes right before the medicine is applied. The water co creates with the cleanse and the medicine. The medicine is applied to the points, usually each client receives anywhere from 4-8 points. (the amount of medicine is discussed in the preparation session per the client’s needs and goals) Once the medicine is applied, heat will be felt in the body, the blood pressure will spike temporarily as the medicine moves through the body, the client should have already been a bit nauseous from drinking 2-3 liters of water before the medicine was applied, so the nausea continues, sometimes buzzing is felt in certain parts of the body, sometimes the face will swell up slightly in frog face (this is temporary and part of the purging process), and then clients will start purging relatively quickly through vomiting, pooping, crying, sweating, or shaking. Shaking and sweating are much less common, though it can happen to help move energy through the body. Sometimes the client will want to express through the voice and this is perfectly welcomed and accepted. The purging usually only takes about 10-15 minutes and is a necessary part of cleansing and clearing out stagnant energy that needs to leave the body, to help us make space for more vitality. Heart Alchemy Ceremony

In addition to Kambo ceremonies, Kristina Love also leads and hold space within plant medicine ceremonies as well supported by our beloved fungi friends (mushrooms) & huachuma (San Pedro cactus) co leading as the beautiful teachers they are. Grandfather mapacho (Peruvian tobacco) is used to cleanse with the smoke & other aromatherpeutic oils, jungle flower essences, and tinctures are also shared as needed. Cacao is supportive for the opening of the heart.

This ceremony focuses on the heart center, the bridge and pathway to God (Pure Love). This space is incredibly heart opening and focuses on alchemizing illusion and distortion with the most powerful medicine of all— Love. These medicines, the ceremony space, and Kristina simply activate the remembrance of Love within every client’s heart. Through remembering that Love is available within all of our hearts, we heal ourselves of what is no longer serving us. We remember who we truly are. We liberate ourselves.

Every ceremony includes preparation and integration support, just like my Kambo ceremonies. These ceremonies incorporate energy work, original medicine music, and also incorporates guided meditation, coaching as needed, and sharing circles. These ceremonies are incredibly therapeutic, specifically within the coaching and sharing circle space. This space is incredibly supportive to receive divine guidance from the plant medicine, to transmute limiting beliefs, ancestral trauma, and ancestral karma. Just like her Kambo ceremonies, ceremony is opened incredibly intentionally with an altar and opening up the space, just as ceremony is closed intentionally as well. The ceremony typically lasts about 6 hours and involves receiving huachuma medicine microdose, followed by drinking a mushroom medicine tea blend, which is Kristina’s special recipe. The dosage is discussed within the preparation session. A consultation session is an option as well, to really tune into whether or not this kind of work and co creation is aligned for you. Homemade soup is served after ceremony with a brief integration before the actual integration session about a week and a half after the ceremony. Ongoing integration is available as needed as well!

Integration Therapy

Integration support offers a wide range of tools, practices, and modalities depending on what is needed. When we dive into sacred medicine work and don’t have proper integration skills and/or support, the work can seem daunting, taxing, and moreover confusing.

When we immerse ourselves in a yoga intensive, medicine ceremony, yoga teacher training, or even a healing retreat, we tend to come out of that environment with new visions, perspectives, as a transformed being. In these spaces, we tend to crack ourselves completely open. When we don’t have proper integration tools, practices, and support, all of the money, time, energy spent in these sacred spaces may lose their light and impact on us.

All of Kristina’s programs, ceremonies, retreats, and microdose therapy protocols come with integration support.
